Planner

Overview:
The Planner is responsible for preparing due diligence reports, land use approvals, site planning, municipal planning and for compliance with agreed scope, schedule and budget for their portion of a project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research, including development code and comprehensive plans
-Preparing applications for various land approvals
-Writing and editing technical reports such as justification statements, comprehensive plan, text amendments, etc.
-Developing presentation materials for public hearings and neighborhood meetings
-Attending meetings with clients, county and municipal staff and project managers
-Support Senior Project Manager
Skills required:
- Excellent self-management skills,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and desire to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- Public speaking
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D desired.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning or related field

Survey Party Chief

Skills required:
All phases of field work including:
-Boundary & Topographical Surveys
-Construction Layout
-As-Built surveys and utilization of a Robotic Trimble total stations with Trimble Data Collectors and Trimble GPS.
-Field calculations and sketching
-Downloading and Uploading of field data
-Ability to read and understand civil engineering plans
-Quality control of all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, plans, etc
-Preventative maintenance and repair of survey field equipment
Qualifications:
-Experience with Trimble GPS (Static and RTK) and TDS Survey Pro
-Working outside daily
-Lift a minimum of 50lbs when required
-Required to remain standing for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and walk long distances
-Drive a company vehicle (when required) to and from job sites

-This is an entry level position with on-the-job training. A Rod Person will function as a member of a field survey crew performing survey tasks. Responsibilities may include clearing line, establishing points, locating survey points, leveling as well as looking after the stocking and maintenance of the assigned crew vehicle, supplies and equipment.
This is an outdoor position, and an ability to tolerate a wide range of field conditions is required
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge of basic math (addition/subtraction, multiplication and division)
-Good verbal and written communication skills and the motivation to follow instructions completely and accurately while working in rough terrain and inclement weather
